Watch Lecture

Health4TheWorld welcomes Quinn Capers, IV, MD, an interventional cardiologist with The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Capers first provides students with a biological primer on coronary plaque rupture. He then delineates between “stable” and “vulnerable” coronary plaque and possible interventions to decrease rupture risk. Capers concludes with a comparison of the two major modes of reperfusion therapy following acute ST elevation MI.

This was a very elaborate course defining coronary arteries and their diseases. The risk of rupture and reperfusion have been discussed heavily. This is a great course for any medical student.
