Health4TheWorld welcomes Dr. Sigurdis Haraldsdottir from Stanford University to discuss colon cancer. Colon Cancer is a preventable cancer that can be cured if it is detected early enough. Dr. Haraldsdottir discusses the pathophysiology, clinical features and diagnosis. She also discusses how countries that implemented colon cancer screening programs are now witnessing a declining incidence of colon cancer. She also provides information about risk factors for colon cancer and what information health care providers can give patients so they understand their risk factors. Finally, Dr. Haraldsdottir discusses management of colorectal cancer and the immunotherapies that are changing the management of metastatic disease.
