H4TW welcomes Dr. Raymond as she discuss the stroke, the leading cause of disability
worldwide and the second leading cause of death. The deficits following a stroke vary
depending on size and location of a stroke. Therefore, the neuroanatomy is discussed first and
correlated to anatomy. By the end of this lecture, we hope that healthcare providers can
localize lesions by assessing functional neurological deficit and determining the functional
region affected.
